Kidde Airsense Wire Burn Test Rig 9-30051

The unit incorporates a switched 230 volts A.C. input feeding the primary coil of a 200 VA transformer. The transformer has two 6 volt A.C. outputs that are connected across three output terminals. The two outer terminals are the individual 6 volt A.C. outputs and the centre terminal is a common return. This equipment is fitted to a die-cast metal enclosure that is connected to earth. The 230 volts A.C. supply plug is fitted with a 3.0 Amp fuse.
