Smoke Sabre is a significant step ahead in the design of smoke detector testers. All other pressurized aerosol smoke alarm testers have the inherent drawback that, if misused, they leave harmful residue on the casing and / or within the chamber of the detector
This residue can discolour the detector plastic and is attracted to dust, influences sensitivity and, in some instances, direct to corrosion, cracking or even the complete failure of the detector. Residue takes place when testing aerosols are used way too near the detector, or smoke alarm, in spite of guidelines not to do so. Smoke Sabre cannot be utilised way too close to the detector and eradicates hazardous residue while focusing and concentrating on the canned smoke test gas. When in the shut position the sabre prevents entry to the spray button.
The aerosol can only be activated when the sabre is fully extended. In use, the air is drawn through the holes in the sabre and this, coupled with the venturi result associated, assists the velocity and vaporization approach of the airborne particles. The result is a far more efficient test, providing a better detector activation, utilizing much less gas for each per test, and reducing expenses whilst removing hazardous residue.
The extending sabre is made of 100% bio-degradable plastic making Smoke Sabre the only smoke detector test aerosol to be both recyclable and eco-friendly. Smoke Sabre is UL and ULC listed, meets global testing standards, and is approved by major smoke detector manufacturers.
