Aspirating smoke detection System (ASD) are much more advantageous than passive smoke detectors as they are not reliant on room airflow.
This means that they are able to detect smoke before it is even visible which is crucial when it comes to alerting building occupants, saving lives and closely protecting valuable equipment and data storage.
By law, all workplaces must have some sort of smoke detection system in place. There are various detectors available to buy on the market and we have tested and hand-picked only the best to safeguard your premises.

Vesda VSP-005 Filter Cartridge (Singular) The VESDA replacement filter cartridge (VSP-005 for single units and VSP-025 for a pack of 20) is used to replace filter cartridges in VESDA LaserCOMPACT, LaserFOCUS, LaserPLUS and LaserSCANNER detectors. One model fits all detectors. Key Features:
- Easy swap replacement filter
- Fits VLC, VLF, VLP and VLS VESDA detectors
- Available singly or in packs of 20
- 90 mm x 63 mm x 30 mm (3.5 in. x 2.5 in. x 1.2 in.)
-
The LaserSCANNER is similar to the standard LaserPLUS detector, but also includes a valve mechanism in the inlet manifold and software to control the airflow from the four VESDA sectors (pipes). This configuration enables a single VESDA zone to be divided into four separate sectors, for example, distinguishing between separate voids within a room or seperate cabinets within the same room.
